Super Fast Update

Ladybug is still living in my place.
She is getting quite plump, so I'm cutting back a bit on her food.

I read ALL of your comments and e-mails.
I'm so thankful for all the support.

I will post new pictures and information about Ladybug soon!

xoxo

So glad to see a post Jon. I check your site most everyday for news. Did you reach your $1000 goal for ladybug?

Thank you again for the work you do.

Hello, my name is sarah wheatley and im a bit lost on what to do regarding my two staffordshire bull terriors. I was living in my house for aprrox 10 months when the house next door to me was purchased by a couple in their 60s and have caused nothing but trouble for me and my family. First of all they reported me to the housing association that i rent my property from and said that my two dogs are continuously barking, they are dangerous and aggressive dogs, (to which they fear for their lives) when i got my two dogs from my grandmothers staffordshire bull terrior who died when giving birth to the pups i took all precaution to prevent them from going into next door with chicken wire along the fence which was also buried into the concrete ground which my boyfriend and i laid to stop them digging, however shortley after the neighbours moved in they decided to rip the fence down and replace it with a new one and moved it 8 inches towards their property that left an 8 inch line of mud for the dogs to dig which meant i had no chicken wire there, so the dogs dug a hole under the new fence so the neighbours called the police and accused me and my dogs of crinimal damage, and because all this was happening the new neighbours also called my landlords and they took me to court, their argument was that i didnt have written permission to own any dogs on the premises and they showed the judge the supposed contract that they have which states "I need written permision to own dogs" and because i cant get any legal representation being on income support (single Parent) and legal aid doesnt cover pets. The judge satated that i need to remove my two dogs from my home in fourteen days which has now expired, however in MY contract and terms and conditions which i signed when i moved into the property it states under the pet section I DO NOT NEED WRITTEN OR VERBAL permission to own any cats or dogs providing i have a garden (which i do) but the judge said he,s not prepared to listen to me without legal representation but I CANT GET ANY...i would also like to point out that my dogs do not bark continuously they are really soft and dosile, they enjoy alot of fuss i also pick up their mess from the garden almost every day and i have 10 letters from the other neighbours who live the other side of me stateing that my dogs are NOT aggressive nor do they bark infact they are extremely playfull and nice dogs but again im finding this hard to get across to the court mainly the conflict in contracts which i think is wrong because i have it in writing saying i dont need permission, (I NEED LEGAL REPRESENTATION) my dogs are staying at my boy friends who lives in an upstairs 1 bedroom flat but cannot stay there as he,s not allowed pets at all, but he dosent wnt to see them put to sleep although we had no choice..we asked friends and family if they could look after them but to no avail, he took them in because i would be breaking a court order if i kept them at my house and i could face prison and the dogs will be removed and destroyed, which i think is unfair as they are perfect dogs and both have been chipped. In court i tried to explain to the judge the reason why i have dogs, because i was attacked in my previouse home and the dogs are part of the family and my three children are very attatched to them, but the judge replied " DON'T TELL ME YOUR DOGS ARE PART OF THE FAMILY BECAUSE THEY NEVER ARE, PEOPLE USE THAT AS AN EXUSE TO KEEP THEM". I just dont know what else to do or who to turn too, i have contacted numerous solicitors in my area but none want to help me because it involves dogs and i cant afford £190.00 per hour,is there an organisation that you know of that can maybe help me to keep my dogs and to stop them from being destroyed or rehomed to strangers as i have another court date on the 25th of August to find out what will happen to the dogs permanantly. I feel i have enough evidence for the court all i need is someone to help me in court and represent me.
Thankyou for taking the time to read my email
many thanks
Sarah
